Your Game Station comes with an HDMI cable, power cable (plus two USB controllers with the Complete version).
The Elecom USB Gamepad that comes with the Game Station Complete is one of the best and most affordable classic controllers. If you have videogame consoles at home, your Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and Sony PlayStation 4 controllers will work with the Game Station when connected via USB. Both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 controllers can work wirelessly, see setup instructions (support for unofficial controllers is not guaranteed):
Xbox 360 Controller | You must already have an Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver in order to use Xbox 360 wireless controllers. Simply connect the receiver to a USB port on your Game Station and you may now sync up to 4 controllers. Xbox 360 wired controllers will work without an adapter, but wireless controllers connected via the Play and Charge cable will still need the wireless receiver. |

Scroll left or right to cycle through the available systems, then select one with the "B" button. You can now scroll up and down through the list of available games, using "L" and "R" to skip pages at time. Select the game you wish to play with the "B" button.
Start + Select. To quit a game that is currently being played, press the "Start" and "Select" buttons simultaneously.
The easiest way to save games is to use the in-game save functionality. This should work like normal across systems. There are additional controls that will allow you to save anywhere in a game if so desired, see below.
Select + R | Pressing "Select" and the "R" buttons simultaneously will save the current game state into the currently selected save slot, 0 by default |
Select + L | Pressing "Select" and the "L" buttons simultaneously will load the game state from the currently selected save slot, 0 by default |
Select + Left | Pressing "Select" and the "Left" buttons simultaneously change the currently selected save slot, decreasing it by 1 |
Select + Right | Pressing "Select" and the "Right" buttons simultaneously change the currently selected save slot, increasing it by 1 |
Select + X. The Game Station comes with the ability to use many Game Genie, Action Replay, and other cheats. To access the Cheats menu you must first launch the game you wish to place, then press the "Select" and "X" buttons simultaneously. Now select the Quick Menu option, then the Cheats menu, then Load Cheat File. Choose the system that you are currently playing and scroll down until you find the game you are currently playing and select it. You will now see a list of cheats that you can toggle on or off. Use the directional pad left/right to toggle the cheats on/off, then select Apply Cheat Changes, go Back, and select Resume. Your cheats should now be enabled! Note: You only need to Load Cheat File once per game, then when you access the cheat menu in the future all the cheats should be available.
Network Copying | To copy a game ROM to your Game Station you must first connect the console to your home network using the ethernet port. Once connected, your Game Station will automatically appear on your network as 'gamestation'. Using Windows Explorer on PC, or Finder on Mac OS, you can now copy game ROMS over to the appropriate system folder inside the roms folder. For example, to copy a Nintendo Entertainment System game you would copy it over to //gamestation/roms/nes. |

There is no need to turn the Game Station off, it is designed to always be plugged in and draws minimal power, much less than the standard cable box. If you need to turn the game station off in order to move it to another location, press the start button on the controller and navigate to the Quit menu option. From there, select Shutdown System, then wait a minute before unplugging the Game Station.
The Game Station comes with multiple emulators for each system. If your game is having issues, try launching it again, but press A and/or B during the boot screen to configure options for the game. Select the second menu option "Select emulator for rom" and choose a different emulator than the default. Try each emulator to see if one works with your game.
The Game Station is only capable of playing some games from the later consoles. We're working on compiling a list of compatible games to help alleviate the frustration, but for now it is a bit of trial and error.
While your Game Station should come pre-configured for the Elecom USB Gamepad, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4 controllers, you could be presented with a configuration screen. If so, see the button mappings below for configuration. You can press and hold a button to skip configuring it.
To reconfigure your controller you'll have to enter the following code from the main console menus: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Once the code is entered the system will restart and you will have a new menu option titled "Configure Input". Select that and you can re-configure your controller. Once it's set I recommend going back into the Main Menu-> UI Options and setting it to Kiosk mode. This will hide the extra menu options and prevent accidentally misconfiguring the system.
